Di roccia, fuochi e avventure sotterranee is a collection of photographic campaigns commissioned on construction sites in Europe, the Far East and Oceania by Ghella, a company specializing in underground excavations for the construction of large infrastructural works.

The publications created by Fabio Barile, Andrea Botto, Marina Caneve, Alessandro Imbriaco and Francesco Neri constitute a series of creative explorations of the construction of a tunnel. Each volume deals with a particular type of construction site, in different stages of progress and with different excavation techniques, combining documentation, portraiture, still life, conceptualism and abstraction.

The collection also includes a publication with photographs selected by the curator Alessandro Dandini de Sylva from the Ghella historical archive.
